6 PSC paddlers came out to paddle this beautiful stretch of the Turtle River. At 100 cfs, it was just on the edge of being to low to enjoyably paddle, but there was only a few scrappy areas. We saw a turtle, heron, hawk, owl, lots of fish (I mean, lots) and two golden retrievers! This is a great river for beginners, not much downfall and has a few riffles to make it exciting. The railroad bridge near the end is a sight to behold. Perfect day on the water.
