Date(s): May 4, 2024 Leader: Gary Swick Co-Leader: John Ziegler Location: Gail Borden Library, Elgin--meet north of the library Details: PSC is partnering with Friends of the Fox River in a cleanup of the Fox in Elgin. Everyone will meet at the north end of the library parking lot at 9AM to sign in and get supplies.
There will be two parts to this cleanup. One group will be walking along the shore and the adjoining City property north of the library. The other group will be using canoes and kayaks to pick up trash from the water. PFD's are required if you help with the cleanup using your canoe or kayak.
As usual, if you have your favorite pickup tools and gloves, bring them. Don't forget your dump bag and something to drink and sunscreen.
