Bring everyone and join us as we paddle about 12 miles on the lower portion of the Fabulous Fox Water Trail from Sheridan to Wedron, IL and enjoy its scenic beauty, series of beautiful St. Peter Sandstone bluffs, and a breathtaking view of the beautiful renaissance of nature as the leaves in Northern Illinois turn to their most brilliant.
Bring water, lunch, snacks, PFD, sunscreen, bug spray, and enough cash (for put-in/take out fees); and dress appropriately for the weather.
PFDs need to be worn all the time while on the water. It must be on you and not just with you. Contact trip leaders and co-leaders for more details.
Put-in: Last Resort Restaurant at 4163 E 2603rd Rd Sheridan, IL 60551 ($5 per boat)
Take out: C&M Canoe Rental at 3401 E 2062nd Rd, Wedron, IL 61350 ($5 per boat)
