Co-Leader: Nava Segall Location: Sheridan-Wedron-Dayton, IL (north of Ottawa) Skill Level: Beginner Category: Day trip Details: Let's paddle about 14 miles of the lower portion of the Fox River, now known as the Fabulous Fox Water Trail, from Sheridan to Wedron then to Dayton, IL (North of Ottawa) and enjoy its scenic beauty and the beautiful St. Peter Sandstone bluffs along the way. Put-in is at Last Resort Restaurant in Sheridan, IL (there's a fee of $5 per boat so bring cash) and take-out is at a public access above Dayton Dam on river right. Bring water, lunch, snacks, PFD, and enough cash (for put-in fee) and dress appropriately for the weather that day. Contact trip leader and co-leader for more details.
