Details: Join us at Ferson Creek Park in St Charles for our annual picnic. The park is on the Fox River, so bring your boat, paddles, and PFD for on-water fun. It’s “Bring-your-own” for food and snacks, but fine if you want to share. A short morning paddle starting upstream and arriving at the park for the start of festivities is optional. A few of the planned activities: On-water demonstrations; try-a-boat; games (both on water and on land); book table; gear swap (that item that you no longer need may find a new home, and you might find just what you always needed). Ferson Creek Park is on State Road 31 about a mile north of where Route 64 crosses the river. Watch for the E-Blast updates.
