Details:This is the first of our New Members’ Events, and we want to meet you and tell you all about PSC. We will meet at Busse Lake for a pleasant paddle. We will play water games, practice our paddling technique, get acquainted, eat lunch.
You must have your own boat and paddles, and your properly-fitting PFD must be worn at all times on the water. Bring lunch, drinking water, and a change of clothes, which you can leave in your car if you wish. We plan to hit the water about 10:00 AM for about 3 hours of (more or less) organized activity; you can stay as long as you like. Bring a chair for the lunch break.
The Busse Lake Boating Center is accessed from Higgins Road; look for the sign on the south side of Higgins just east of I-290. Here is a map:
