Date: June 1, 2019 Leader: John Chase Location: Marge Cline Riverside Park, Yorkville Skill Level: L1/2 Instructor Update Category: Instructor Certification Update The ACA L1/2 River Kayaking Instructor Update is a hands-on learning opportunity where you will refine your teaching skills while learning new methods to improve your abilities as an instructor.
All ACA certified instructors must complete an Instructor Update program every four years.
Pricing: $150 per participant
Participants will need to bring their own boat, paddle, PFD, snacks, lunch, and all personal items. The Instructor Trainer will contact participants prior to the event with teaching assignments, study materials and special instructions or equipment needs.
