Paddle the scenic Fox River from Sheridan To Wedron Illinois. It’s roughly 12 miles and takes about 4 hours plus time for lunch. Enjoy the view of the beautiful sandstone cliffs in the dells section. It’s one of the prettiest rivers in Illinois. It’s a gentle flowing river with a few sections of easy riffles that’s easy for beginners and fun for all. Bring along $5 per boat to give to the Last Resort bar for letting us use their launch. We will stop along the way for a shore lunch. There is a donation box there for use of the private property and picnic tables. There is another $5 fee at the take out at Ayers Landing. Believe me this trip is worth the minimal costs. It is one of my favorites in Illinois! PFD's must be worn at all times while on the water. Bring a snack/lunch/sun screen/bug spray/etc.
