1:00 PM Our Speaker is none other than Darren Bush, dubbed “The Paddling Evangelist”. He may well touch just the right tone to inspire each of us to get out there and paddle more! We all face a time crunch these days, and this has resulted in fewer paddling days and fewer paddling miles for our club in the last few years. Darren will share his secrets: how does the owner of one of the busiest retail operations, which includes paddling instruction at all levels for all ages, year-round special events, plus selling, servicing, and renting every type of paddling equipment, ever have time to enjoy paddling?
Darren is the owner of Rutabaga Paddlesports in Madison, Wisconsin; one of the largest paddlesports retailers in the country and presenter of Canoecopia; the largest paddlesports consumer event in the world, with over 250,000 square feet of kayaks, canoes, Stand Up Paddleboards, outdoor equipment and clothing.
