Somehow, we managed to convince 27 paddlers to pack up and leave home for anywhere from 1 to 15 days, drive to the big city of Licking MO and join us for some paddling trips in the Ozarks.

While these trips, in the past, have always attracted far more non-PSC paddlers than club members, this year we had 17 club members and 10 non-PSC paddlers.

For the first five days of the event we were hounded by low water levels ("Hound" in this case, has no reference to paddledog Harvey.)  After that, we had to restrict the streams that we could use because of too much water.  Spring in the Ozarks!

All told, we managed to paddle on the Big Piney (multiple sections), Eleven Point, Current (three sections), Jacks Fork (two sections), Norfork, Osage Fork of the Gasconade and the Little Piney River (a.k.a. Tiny Piney,) losing not a single day to weather events (most of our rain came at night.)

Many thanks to PSC Members and non-members who aided by running shuttles, leading groups and generally tending to the cat herding that is needed for such a venture.  Great work:  Greg Vitale, Carol and Bob Alexander, John Holzmueller, Tom Haney, Ana Donaldson and Steve LaPorte.  Without your efforts, this series of trips would not have come off.
