"Connecting paddlers through safe and fun group events"
Trip was posted on 2/20.

Yes, Prairie State paddlers have been running rivers and slurping soup for 50 years, so why not join us to keep up the tradition. We will paddle the upper section of the DuPage West Branch, which is narrow and winding through several forest preserves. We'll stop to feast at the community soup pot before continuing downstream.
This stretch of the river, depending on conditions, requires decent boat control skills. Plan to dress for the weather (whatever that might be). We will be observing the current COVID protocols, which means you should arrange your own car shuttle.
Don’t forget the soup! A can of some non-cream variety that will mix in the pot. Bring your own beverage, side dish, bowl and spoon.
Car shuttle at 9:30 from the put-in. Call trip leaders for more information.
